As recession bit hard during the summer of 2009, nine of the UK’s largest IT user organisations came together to discuss how the downturn has impacted on IT service delivery. Of the organisations represented all had instituted some cost reduction measures. Some organisations have outsourced services or a strategic Partner while others utilise large numbers of contract staff.
The discussion provides a unique insight into how organisations are managing the inevitable budget constrains in order to continue providing high service levels that allows the business to compete.
